As a Dishwasher at Rodizio Grill, you play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen. You are responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized properly, contributing to a safe and smooth-running operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, cookware, and kitchen equipment in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and all BOH workspaces.
- Properly operate and maintain dish machines, including regular cleaning and troubleshooting.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables according to restaurant procedures and local regulations.
- Assist with basic food prep, kitchen cleaning tasks, or restocking as directed by kitchen leadership.
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and PPE.
- Communicate effectively with other staff and management to support a clean and safe environment.
Qualifications:
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and tolerate heat and humidity.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive team attitude.
- Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
