About the Job
Rodizio Grill — The Brazilian Steakhouse

The Meat Server is the heart of the Rodizio Grill dining experience. As a Meat Server, you are responsible for presenting and carving an array of fire-roasted, skewered meats tableside — delivering the abundance, warmth, and authenticity of traditional Brazilian churrasco to every guest, every visit.

This is a highly guest-facing, physically active position that demands genuine hospitality, precision, and a team-first mentality. You will work in close, continuous coordination with servers, the host team, and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless, memorable dining experience from the first skewer to the last.

 Key Responsibilities:
  • Rotate the dining floor consistently, presenting and carving skewered meats at each table with skill, confidence, and genuine hospitality.
  • Expertly carve and serve a rotating selection of grilled items — including beef, pork, chicken, lamb, and pineapple — using proper technique and table-safe practices.
  • Communicate proactively and continuously with servers regarding table status, guest preferences, dietary restrictions, and food allergies to ensure safe and personalized service.
  • Relay requests for additional beverages, desserts, or special items to the appropriate server or team member promptly.
  • Monitor tables and respond accordingly — recognizing when guests are ready for service, pausing, or finishing their meal.
  • Maintain accurate knowledge of all meats on rotation, including preparation methods, seasoning, and doneness levels, to confidently answer guest questions.
  • Restock the grill area, communicate low-supply items to the kitchen, and ensure skewer rotation is consistent and timely throughout service.
  • Uphold a polished, professional appearance in the traditional Gaucho uniform at all times during service.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills — comfortable speaking with guests of all backgrounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining composure and attentiveness.
  • Strong teamwork ethic; willingness to communicate openly with servers and kitchen staff throughout every shift.
  • Food handler certification (or ability to obtain upon hire, per local requirements).
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and carry weighted skewers for extended periods — typically 6–8 hours per shift.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends (Saturday & Sunday), and holidays.
